Travel together on Snälltåget
It pays to travel together when you book on Snälltåget.se! When you book a seat in a carriage on Snälltåget.se, adults, seniors 60+, youths, and students traveling together receive a discount. On our night trains and some of our day trains, we also offer private compartments, which are perfect for when you travel together.
25% discount on Seat tickets
Adults, seniors 60+, youths, and students traveling together in the "Seat" fare category receive a 25% discount on their ticket.
Additionally, up to four children under 16 years can get up to 80% off the adult price if the booking includes at least one adult, senior 60+, youth, or student.
The discount applies only when you book a Seat and only when you book through Snälltåget.se.
Book a Private compartment
When you book a Private compartment, you get a compartment for yourself or your group.
The compartment can accommodate up to six people and is available on all our night trains.
Private compartments are also available on some of our day trains. If this option is available for the departure you're trying to book, you can find "Private Compartment Seats" or "Private Compartment" under the "Price level" section in the online booking.
Travelling from different stations
If you're travelling from different stations on the same train, you'll need to make separate bookings for each segment. If you're booking a Private compartment, you can book it from the earliest boarding station. Make sure the train stops at all boarding stations by checking your journey in the online booking. Travelling with more than six people
You can book travel for up to six people on Snälltåget.se. If your group consists of more than six people, please email us at snalltaget@snalltaget.se with the following details:
- How many people will be travelling
- The contact person's phone number
- The names and ages of all travellers
We will make the booking for you, and you can pay with Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, or Swish on Snälltåget.se.
