Our day trains also operates daily Copenhagen and Stockholm.

Interrail – your train ticket in Europe

Interrail Global is a train ticket valid in 33 countries in Europe. Interrail is personal and cannot be transferred. Interrail can be purchased to be valid for a specific number of consecutive days or for a certain number of travel days within a specific period (also known as a flexipass).

When traveling with a flexipass on night trains, the departure date is considered the travel date until the night train arrives at your destination in the morning.

Snälltåget offers daily departures from Copenhagen to Malmö, Lund, Eslöv, Hässleholm, Alvesta, Nässjö, Linköping, Norrköping, Södertälje and Stockholm. Enjoy a delicious meal in our cosy restaurant Krogen.

Take the train to the mountains

You can also travel with us from Malmö via Stockholm to Åre, the Jämtland mountains, and Härjedalen! These trains operate during winter and early spring, as well as summer and early autumn.

 

Interrail reservations when travelling with Snälltåget

Interrail Global Passes are valid on Snälltåget, but you must purchase a reservation.

On night trains, special rules apply for travel with a card that has a certain number of travel days during a certain period of validity (also known as Flexi Pass). You must fill in the date you start the journey with the night train and then your Interrail card is valid until you get off the night train the next day.

Regardless of the type of card you have, the entire trip must take place within the validity period of your Interrail pass.

Interrail One Country only applies to local travel in the country in which it is valid and does not apply across national borders.

How to book reservations

You book your reservation through the online booking here at Snälltåget.se. In the bottom of the first step in the booking (under the calendar and travellers), mark that you are travelling with an Interrail Pass. If you are travelling together - book everyone at the same time. You must have an Interrail Pass to be able to book a seat.
