About the journey to Ramundberget

Night train to Ramundberget
Snälltåget’s night train offers an easy and comfortable journey to the mountains. Choose from a seat, a berth in a shared compartment, or a private compartment for up to six people – ideal for families or smaller groups. Compartments easily convert from day to night mode, and bed linen is always included.

How to book
Book your train ticket and any necessary transfer directly on our website. You can also pre-order meals. You’ll find the booking tool at the top of the page or on the homepage.

Transfer to Ramundberget
To ensure a seat on the bus, we recommend booking your journey all the way to your final stop. Select “Ramundberget Fjällgården” as your destination when booking.

Meals on board
The restaurant carriage, “Krogen”, is open during the journey and serves breakfast in the morning. For a smoother experience, we recommend pre-booking both your table and your meals.

Luggage and equipment
If travelling via Östersund, you can check in skis, sledges, prams and other bulky luggage (149 SEK per item/leg). If travelling via Röjan, checked luggage is not available. Private compartments offer more space, especially if not all berths are used. Note that space is limited – we recommend packing in smaller, flexible bags or rucksacks instead of large hard suitcases.

Travelling with pets
Pets are welcome in seat carriages, private compartments and on the coach. Remember to select the "I want to travel with a pet" option when booking.

Ticket rules
Tickets can be rebooked up to 24 hours before departure (7 days for private compartments). For trains 13904 and 13905, return trips must be booked together. If you want cancellation flexibility, choose a refundable ticket as an option.
