Hiking for beginners?

Have you never hiked the mountains before, but would like to try? Our tip is to travel to Åre, check in at the Holiday Club or Copperhill and make easier day hikes at Åreskutan. Enjoy the fresh air and the stunning views during the day, indulge in a nice dinner in the evening and have a good night's sleep in white sheets. Åre Sweden offers you many tips on how to plan your hikes in Åre.

You can also choose to stay in a cabin or apartment, rented from AGO i Åre or Skistar Åre.

An alternative if you have already been to Åre or would like to stay closer to nature, is staying in Edsåsdalen or at Vålådalens Fjällstation. There are many nice trails for day hikes in the area.

I have hiked before – tell me about the trails and how to get there!

For moderate or advanced hikers, the mountains in Jämtland and Härjedalen have a lot to offer.
