Snälltåget to Funäsfjällen

Our night trains will take you from the south of Sweden to a winter holiday in Funäsfjällen. The train travels to Röjans station on the Inlandsbanan, and from there, a connecting bus goes to Funäsdalen's bus station.

Departures and stations 2024/25

For the winter season 2024/25, we operate from Malmö to Bruksvallarna on Fridays from December 20, 2024, to March 29, 2025, for changeover day on Saturday for accommodations. The train stops in Malmö, Lund, Hässleholm, Alvesta, Nässjö, Linköping, and Norrköping, then proceeds directly to Röjan station on the Inlandsbanan.

From Röjan, you travel with connecting transfer buses to Bruksvallarna. The bus journey from Röjan to Ramundberget takes approximately two hours. Transfers operate to and from Funäsdalen's bus station. Click here to see the bus timetable.

Round trip bookings are available with departure on Friday (train 3904) and return on Saturday (3905). These departures cannot be combined with departures on other days.

The bus from Röjan goes to Funäsdalen's bus station, but Funäsfjällen is much more extensive! The ski bus efficiently connects Fjällnäs, Tänndalen, Tänndalsvallen, Tännäskröket, Kappruet, Funäsdalsberget, Bruksvallarna, and Ramundberget. The lift pass serves as the ticket.
