With our night trains, we take you from the south of Sweden to a winter holiday in the cross-country skiing paradise of Bruksvallarna. The train takes you to Röjans station on the Inlandsbanan, and from there, a connecting bus stops in Bruksvallarna at Stigmyhrs Livs.

Departures and stations 2024/25

In the winter season 2024/25, we operate from Malmö to Bruksvallarna on Fridays from December 20, 2024, to March 29, 2025, with changeover day on Saturday for accommodations. The train travels via Malmö, Lund, Hässleholm, Alvesta, Nässjö, Linköping, and Norrköping, and then directly to Röjan station on the Inlandsbanan.

From Röjan, you travel with connecting transfer buses to Bruksvallarna. The bus journey from Röjan to Ramundberget takes approximately two hours. The transfer from Röjan to Bruksvallarna operates to and from Stigmyhrs Livs, right in the middle of the village with walking distance to most amenities. The bus also stops at Funäsdalen's bus station and Ramundberget fjällgården. Click here to view the bus timetable.

Round trip bookings are available with departure on Friday (train 3904) and return on Saturday (3905). These departures cannot be combined with departures on other days.

About Bruksvallarna

Bruksvallarna is a genuine little mountain village in western Härjedalen, known for its fantastic cross-country skiing. It boasts 11 kilometers of well-prepared ski trails that wind through the valley and extend into beautiful high mountain terrain. Additionally, there are several kilometers of mountain trails prepared from the 7th week. Here, you can experience world-class skiing from November to the end of April. Bruksvallarna welcomes everyone, from beginners, tour skiers, Vasaloppet skiers, and families to elite athletes.

Bruksvallarna offers a familial and mountain-close atmosphere with fantastic opportunities for experiences and recreation. The village features the ski stadium, cross-country and snowmobile tracks, winter hiking, snowmobile trips up to the waffle cabin at Knallen, restaurants, sports shops, and grocery stores.

Bruksvallarna is a part of Funäsfjällen, Scandinavia's largest mountain experience. The ski bus easily connects you to various ski resorts within Funäsfjällen, such as Ramundberget, Tänndalen, and Funäsdalen.
